Something very special was to emerge from the seeds of our own grapes, left over after the harvest. Today, I can say: it became a natural cosmetic line that not only nourishes my skin but also my conscience.
What guides me in this? The conviction that true beauty arises in harmony with nature. Without compromise. Without tricks. Without empty promises.
But how do you know if a product is truly "natural" – or just playing with green buzzwords? Unfortunately, "natural cosmetics" is not a protected term. That's why I want to give you eight good reasons why my organic grape cosmetics are so special – and what you should look out for in your skincare.
100% Organic – Demeter Natural Cosmetics
My products carry the Demeter seal – one of the strictest organic certifications worldwide. This means: All plant-based ingredients come from controlled organic or even biodynamic cultivation. At least 90% must be Demeter-certified. No compromises, no hidden additives. Only the best from nature – with the utmost respect for soil, plant, animal, and human.
What's not in it is just as important
Microplastics? Synthetic fragrances? Mineral oils? Not with me. I deliberately avoid all problematic ingredients that could harm people or the environment. You won't find artificial preservatives or palm oil in my products either. Instead, I work with a positive list and only allow substances that are proven to be harmless. For you. For all of us.
Regional Actives – Short Transport Routes
Many believe that only exotic plants can work true wonders. I see it differently: Our Wachau vineyards are full of medicinal, often forgotten plants. Why roam far when good things are so close? By using regional raw materials, I not only save on transport routes but also strengthen the diversity of our native flora – and at the same time protect the ecosystem on our doorstep.
Unprocessed – Effective Natural Cosmetics
My facial care products contain the pure power of nature – in its original form. I use untreated oils and extracts because I firmly believe that nature has already created everything perfectly. This purity makes my care products so effective: a few drops are often enough. The important thing is that you find the right product for your skin – and I'd be happy to help you with that.
Cruelty-Free Cosmetics
Animal testing on cosmetic products and their ingredients has actually been banned since 2009. Nevertheless, through indirect routes, auxiliary substances that were originally tested on animals still find their way into cosmetics.
Through careful selection and the smallest possible use of artificial auxiliary substances, you can be sure that none of my ingredients have been tested on animals.
Recyclable Packaging
Glass, aluminum, recycled paper – wherever possible, I avoid plastic and opt for reusable materials. Some products – such as those for the shower – require shatterproof packaging for safety reasons. For these, I use Re-PET, i.e., recycled plastic. This keeps the environmental impact as low as possible.
